Lets get this straight. A scam is confidence trick by “con men” that prey on the naive.
The Empower Network is a legitimate network, with a real product and training. It is not a scam in that sense of the word. Does it work? Is it worth it? Those are the real questions. This reviewer is skeptical and thinks you should be too.
What is the Empower Network?
The Empower Network’s flagship product is the Viral Blogging System or website, which “comes fully hosted, coded and designed for only $25 per month.” There are differences between this type of system and ready made blogging systems such as the popular WordPress, as the set up and optimization has been greatly simplified, with built in SEO rating systems. Drag & drop technology further simplifies customization and removes the need for coding. At the heart of the system is social sharing feature of blogs by the network which creates a possibility of real time social engagement.
And there’s more. There’s “The Inner Circle”, “The 15K Formula”, and “The Costa Rica Intensive” program. All in, this training costs about $5000. and is necessary if you are just starting out and want to be successful. Education is expensive. Sometimes you just have to pony up. What’s that? You don’t have that kind of dough? Well, maybe this isn’t for you.
Who is the Empower Network for?
This program is for those that want to be affiliate marketers that don’t really know where to start. A simple turn key system is very appealing because the heavy lifting is already done. The sites are well designed and work. And you have a good idea what is missing when you create your content because of the built in tools. Compared to other open systems like WordPress, this is very helpful. The functionality is single-minded and so there is no need to introduce specialized plugins, as in the case of WordPress, or learn about SEO. It’s expensive, but if it works then it will be worth it, right?
Is The Empower Network Worth It?
First off, I think it is fairly naive to think that the Empower Network works in all cases for everybody. You probably need to have a few smarts and you need to be prepared to make some mistakes to eventually be a savvy marketer. I have not been a part of the Network, but am aware of a few that have been. The issue, I think, is that it really takes some work to be successful and the Empower Network creates an instant net presence that requires very little knowledge and work. Unless, of course, the way you make your money is selling the Empower Network’s high priced promise to others who are just starting out.
The other issue is the money. The fact that unless you spend $5000. at the Empower Network the chances are that you will not succeed, because only those who are “all in” get to market the system. If that sounds right to you, then give it a whirl.
There are better places to learn about how to be successful at affiliate marketing. You don’t need to spend a lot, but you do need to understand that it cannot possibly happen overnight without any work or training. A much better course of action is at the Wealthy Afiliate, where you will receive the best training and support.
